Mourning

BBC Radio 4

‘Mourning’ is a three-part radio series exploring cultural differences in grief and mourning. It delves into the mourning traditions in Jamaica with Nine Nights, Judaism and Hinduism. I was invited to come up with an idea for the series that matched my interests and as part of the series I got to speak with three very different people about their cultural understandings and approaches to grief and mourning.

Co-Produced by Euella Jackson and Sarah Blunt

Commissioned by BBC Radio 4 in 2019.
